It was lovely to meet with Jamie and Cheryl in a very cold and windy Whitby last week. They love Whitby and have chosen to have their wedding at the wonderful Sneaton Castle. We met on the beach just as the tide was coming in so had plenty of wet sand for reflection photos. My pre-wedding shoots are a very laid back and casual affair. I like my photos to look completely natural and it’s also a great way of getting you both used to the camera and also for me to get to know you a bit more and hear your wedding plans.
Jamie and Cheryl were so brave as we headed out onto the pier, it was really windy and cold but Cheryl braved the winter weather and we got some great photos of this iconic pier.

I do a lot of landscape photography in Whitby, and having spent much of my younger years in the town both working and socialising I have great knowledge of some fabulous locations for your photos. We had a chat about Jamie and Cheryl’s wedding day and have made some plans to “hit the town” again in May.

The whalebones are always a favourite and a must for Whitby fans. Cheryl even turned photographer for a couple who wanted a photo !

Thankyou both for coming to meet with me, we had a great time and you were both amazing. Hopefully it will be a bit warmer next time we see you !
Much love
Ange x
