The Venue

The Spa hotel has a dedicated and experienced wedding team to assist you in making your wedding day perfect. They can help you with every aspect of planning your wedding, from choosing your event space to coordinating with vendors and ensuring that everything runs smoothly on the day of the wedding.
Your day will begin with me joining you for your wedding preparations. This is the time to relax and enjoy a little pampering for your big day. I will photograph this time in a very relaxed and candid manner with photos of you and your bridesmaids having hair and makeup done and enjoying a glass or two of Prosecco. I will photograph your dress, shoes and jewellery and also the ceremony room before your guests arrive. All these little details that you took the time to choose will surely want a place in your wedding album.
2023 has brought some exciting changes to The Spa’s wedding packages and if you’ve chosen to marry in the upstairs Waves room you can now head straight out onto the new private terrace for your drinks reception. The aptly names Skylight Package caters for up to 50 daytime wedding guests who will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the coast and countryside beyond.
Your wedding day
As your wedding photographer I will be with you for the full day from preps through until just after your first dance. We can take full advantage of all that Saltburn has to offer when it comes to your wedding photographs. The beach, Saltburn Pier and Valley Gardens are all just a pebbles throw away from the hotel and provide the most amazing backdrop for your wedding photographs.
You can choose from a variety of different rooms for your ceremony depending on the size of your wedding. The Spa has rooms to cater from a large wedding to a smaller more intimate ceremony. The team will be with you as you head towards the ceremony room where you will be met by your partner to say your wedding vows.
I will be there to photograph those precious moments, your vows, the wedding ring exchange and the first kiss. These all important moments that pass by in a flurry of excitement and nerves will be recorded for you to look back on for years to come.
There is lots of space at the hotel for group and family photos and if the weather isn’t what we hoped then we can do these inside.
Your wedding photographs
I always suggest some time away to yourselves and you will appreciate a breather on this very busy day. This is a lovely thing to do and we can sneak off for a few photos of just the two of you. There are lots of locations to choose from but a trip to the beach and the pier is always popular.
If you’d prefer to stay around the hotel grounds there are some fabulous locations and with the sea and cliffs as a backdrop your wedding photos will be beautiful.
The Spa has a wonderful and varied wedding menu to choose from and you won’t be disappointed the food is superb ! The wedding team will turn your ceremony room into a beautiful setting for your wedding breakfast, guests will be comfortable, warm and well fed.
