Your Danby Castle wedding day will begin with your preparations which take place in the getting ready room within the farmhouse that sits alongside the Castle. This room has been perfectly decorated giving a light and airy feel. It boasts huge mirrors and is the ideal setting for your wedding hair and makeup.

I will take candid , in the moment photographs of this part of your day. I may take your dress outside if the weather is kind and make use of the historical parts of the venue to photograph it along with your wedding bouquet and your shoes.Danby Castle offers a choice of locations for your ceremony. You may choose to marry outside overlooking the beautiful North York Moors. Maybe upstairs in the historical Court Room or downstairs in the larger Barn. This is where you will also have your wedding breakfast.

Danby Castle offers some amazing places within the grounds for your group and family wedding photos. Rustic wooden gates, a quaint country lane and of course the stunning and season changing moors all providing beautiful backdrops. For your couples portraits we can make excellent use of the moorlands and the local historic landmarks. These will give you unique wedding photos for your album.

I grew up in Danby and still live just a 10 minute drive away giving me extensive local knowledge of the most amazing places for your photographs. Danby Castle offers an extensive menu choice to cater to all tastes. The Barn is a warm and spacious setting for your wedding meal. Two huge barrels sit alongside the top table to hold your bridal bouquet and your wedding cake.

The photography packages I offer encompass your full wedding day. They start some two hours before your ceremony begins until just after your first dance.

I am a very relaxed wedding photographer. I photograph your day as it happens with limited staged photos done in a way as to appear natural. Gentle posing showing you both at your very best. My wedding packages include the all important wedding book or photos album. My Trio package also covers later on into the evening with the chance for night time photos and dance floor cover.
