Wold View is located just outside the bustling market town of Driffield in East Yorkshire. Offering beautifully renovated barns this idyllic setting is a blank canvas. It is ready and waiting for you to decorate and make your wedding day uniquely you.
Three lodges are included on your wedding package. This means you can choose your favourite 18 people to stay with you for your celebrations and enjoy a post wedding breakfast together.
As you can have both wedding preps in the same place I can move seamlessly between you both. Relaxed, candid photography of both you and your partner as you get ready for you day.
Your wedding ceremony itself will be held in the spacious “Loosebox”. You will have access to the whole site the day before your wedding. This means you and your suppliers and venue dressers will have plenty of time to decorate this fabulous space.
I’ve got to be honest, I love a long aisle at a wedding venue. That slow walk giving all your guests plenty of time to see the wedding gown you chose. Also plenty of time to take photos of your final walk as a single person.
After your wedding ceremony there is plenty of room in the outdoor courtyard at Wold View Farm for you guests to give you their congratulations. If you’ve chosen to serve canapes these can be enjoyed in this fabulous space. There is room for entertainment and it’s also a wonderful backdrop for those all important group and family photos.
At Wold View Farm your wedding breakfast can be hosted in the Haybarn. High vaulted ceilings and restored brickwork walls are the perfect compliment to your chosen wedding décor. Here you will enter through adjoining doors from where you married and enter the room to a standing ovation and shouts of congratulations. This room is huge so your guests won’t have to squash around the tables as they enjoy their meal. Ample room also allows you to walk the room and see and speak to all your guests.

With your wedding guests sufficiently fed I would encourage you to come out with me for some portrait photos of you both. I’m very much a candid photographer and like to photograph the story of your day as it happens. That said I do think some photos of the two of you are very important. I pride myself on being able to make the most camera shy of couples very comfortable, very quickly. Gentle posing gives you natural looking photos that you will love to have in your wedding album. My couples always enjoy this little bit of time away. It’s a chance for you to spend a few moments together on what is a very busy day.
Wold View Farm has some wonderful locations within it’s grounds for your wedding portraits. Surrounded by rolling fields, woodlands, quaint little lanes and original farm buildings there are endless locations that are a photographers dream.
The Haybarn is now transformed into a your perfect evening celebration. Tables for guests who want to watch whilst you enjoy your first dance as a married couple. Then you can be joined on the dance floor to party the evening away.
Your wedding photographs are a keepsake of one of the biggest and most important days of your life. This record is the very beginning of your new chapter.
